Forrest Schnobrich

Forrest (Brick) Schnobrich, Owner of The Insurance Store Ltd.
Forrest Schnobrich graduated from Adair-Casey Community High School in 1961, graduating from North West Missouri State University 4 years later. In 1972 he received his Masters degree from Truman State University. He has previously spent time as a teacher and coach at Atlantic, North English, and West Union schools as well as 2 years in the U.S. Army, one of those overseas in Vietnam.

His insurance background started in 1973 when he began the first of 8 years with Mertes Insurance. Since 1981, Forrest has owned and operated the Insurance Store Ltd. He is licensed in all lines of insurance and has been on 3 advisory boards with companies he does business with. He is currently a director with Heart of Iowa Mutual and was previously a director with Farmers Mutual Insurance Association of Guthrie County since 1982. He has also been involved in many capacities with the Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa Association and served as their president in 2005. He recently received the highest award given by the association – Agent of the Year.
Forrest has always been extensively involved in community service in the surrounding communities of Adair, Casey, and Menlo. He has been involved with, and in most cases continues to be an active member of many community groups, including the Adair Lions, Adair Chamber of Commerce, Adair Development Club (Now called RIADA), Casey Service Club, Casey Historical Society, United Methodist Church in Casey, Guthrie County Hospital Foundation, Guthrie County Youth Foundation, Midwest Partnership, and is a director on the Iowa Gold Star museum board. He also served as a past Mayor of Casey, IA for 22 years.
Forrest’s family includes his wife, Carol Ann and two daughters: Amy Littler, wife of Bill Littler, and Tracy Troster, wife of Kelly Troster. He also has four grandsons, Bryce and Brock Littler and Tate and Trey Troster, two granddaughters, Becca Lyn Littler and Lauryn Troster, and two step-sons, Brett and Bryan Cushman.
Bret Wedemeyer

Bret is licensed in Personal, Commercial, Crop, Life, Health, and Securities/Investments. Bret was born and raised on his family’s farm near Casey and is married to fellow agent Paul Wedemeyer. He is a very active member of our community and currently serves as a member of the city council, Treasurer for the Casey Service Club and is a board member of the Casey Historical Society. In his spare time Bret enjoys working on the family farm, and spending time in the outdoors with his friends and family.
Jodie Walhovd

Jodie is our Customer Service Representative in the Adair office. She’s a licensed personal lines agent. Jodie is married 3 Children and 7 Grandchildren.
Chanel Vorrath

Chanel joined our team in September of 2017 and is licensed in crop, commercial, and personal lines insurance. She primarily is in our Adair office. She graduated from Adair-Casey High School in 2010 and then from IWCC in 2012 with an Associated Degree in Ag Business. Chanel has two sons Brock And Bennett.
